The El Paso Independent School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve a resolution and real estate sales contract to sell the district’s surface interest and improvements on a roughly 10.6-acre parcel commonly known as the former Mitzi Bond Elementary School campus at 250 Lindbergh Avenue to JNC Development Inc. for $800,000.
Trustee Kahl moved approval of the resolution and sales contract as presented; Trustee Hernandez seconded. The motion describes the property as “a portion of Tract 32A and all of Tracts 32C, 32D, and 32E, Block 5, Upper Valley Survey, City of El Paso, El Paso County, Texas,” totaling approximately 10.6 acres. The board approved the motion by voice vote, 5-0.
The sale resolution and the contract presented at the meeting authorize sale of the district’s surface interest “including improvements” on the parcel. The transcript records the buyer as JNC Development Inc. and the purchase price as $800,000; the board approved the sale to the highest bidder, JNC Development Inc., as set forth in the resolution and contract introduced at the meeting.
Earlier in the same agenda the board noted a separate employment-termination item had been withdrawn. The meeting adjourned after the sale vote and a brief closing statement.
