Fire Chief Wise presented the Trophy Club Fire Department’s annual report to the council, highlighting the department’s personnel, performance metrics, community outreach and ongoing initiatives.
Chief Wise praised the firefighters and said the digital report — a magazine‑style packet available on the department web page — contains key performance metrics and notable achievements. He recognized Deputy Chief Ken Rollinson for assembling the report.
Chief Wise described emergency management as the town’s top strategic initiative and briefed council on a new interlocal agreement with the town of Roanoke, signed earlier in the year. He identified Amanda Manesas as the town’s emergency management coordinator overseeing the program and said Roanoke will provide mutual support during emergencies. Chief Wise said staff are drafting a basic emergency management plan expected to be completed by August or September, at which time staff will return to the council to present it.
Mayor and council members noted the importance of coordination with Denton County and other jurisdictions and expressed appreciation for the department’s community outreach and preparedness efforts. No formal action was taken on the report; it was provided for council and public information.
