Cozy also raised a separate safety request for Idlewood Road in southern Lowndes County, saying the road lacks center striping and streetlights and that headlights from houses can blind drivers; he asked whether the county could stripe the center line to improve visibility. Commissioners asked staff member Mr. McLeod to research whether Idlewood Road is a county road and to report back on striping options.
