Volunteers sign up to provide snacks for Hope Squad meetings at Keller ISD campuses

SHAC members used part of the April 14 meeting to organize volunteer snack support for Hope Squad, a suicide-awareness peer-support program that operates in Keller ISD middle and high schools.
Chair Summer Crowe said counselors had been buying snacks for Hope Squad meetings out of pocket, so the council circulated a SignUpGenius list for members to provide snacks. Council members reported that only three campus dates remained unfilled at the end of the meeting — Indian Springs, Vista Ridge and Trinity Springs — and volunteers were asked to contact the campus counselor to confirm date and headcount before delivering food.
Several members volunteered and one member confirmed an Indian Springs signup during the meeting. Crowe emphasized coordination to avoid duplicated purchases by counselors.
This was an operational volunteer effort; no formal motion or budget appropriation was made.
