Plain City council approves TREX application and dog-park contract waiver; minutes approved

The motion passed and was recorded as approved 6 to nothing.
The council also moved to waive the second reading for Resolution 23-2025, which amends Resolution 7-2025 relating to the contract with Vito Construction Inc. for the Plain City dog park project. After a motion and a second, the roll-call votes were recorded and the waiver passed; the resolution was then adopted with a recorded 6–0 vote. (Packet materials list the resolution as Resolution 23-2025 to amend the contract; the motion on the floor was to waive the second reading and then to approve the resolution.)
Earlier in the meeting the council also approved the special meeting minutes from April 2: a motion to approve was seconded and the council members present recorded their votes in the affirmative.
The council received a notice from the Ohio Division of Liquor Control regarding a permit application for 153 West Main Street (Helter Brand Holdings LLC dba Board and Brush Creative). The legislative authority notice does not require action unless the council requests a hearing; the council took no action on that notice.
