Applicants David and Janine Wise told the commission they provided a corrected plat after staff pointed out a labeling error on the initial copy; Nicole (staff member) confirmed the corrected version was in the applicant’s possession and that the error did not affect the consolidation itself. The properties are currently zoned Historic District Residential (HDR). The applicants said they need the consolidation to build a connected carriage house and that the structure is also going through the Historic Board review process.
A commissioner noted the corrected plat will be signed if approval is granted. The commission voted on the consolidation without public comment; the transcript records the roll-call votes in favor as: Josh Welber — yes; Patrick Tavanagh — yes; Rick Ferris — yes; Joel Storm — yes; Mike Armstrong — yes; Carl Eaglin — yes; Zach Laughlin — yes; Jerry Ralston — yes. The motion passed and the plat consolidation was approved.
The commission’s approval allows staff to finalize and sign the corrected plat; any building permits or Historic Board approvals would be separate proceedings.
