Melanie, a resident, told the Public Safety Committee she will meet with Emergency Management Agency staff and township officials about installing a siren in the village of Harmon.
"I'm gonna be meeting with mister Kevin, I don't wanna butcher your last name, Lally, directly after this concerning the Harmon, village of Harmon in township, siren. So we are definitely gonna be in need of the siren and the button. I spoke with Chris of the township and, probably gonna end up doing the whole kit and caboodle," Melanie said. She said the parties would first "get a plan together" because "it's gonna take us a little bit of time to even get all of that together."
Kevin Lally, with the Emergency Management Agency, was present and acknowledged the planned follow-up meeting. The comment was made during the public-comment portion of the meeting; no formal committee action was taken on the item.
