Treasurer reports reallocated federal funds, new grants and donations; five board approvals follow

Kern said the district received a $72,000 safety and security grant through the Ohio Attorney General and noted a $10,000 locally funded grant for a youth-to-youth program. He also said an agency identified in the transcript as “Odoo” had recently reallocated unused federal funds (Title I, LEP and others) to the district; that reallocation increased the district’s appropriation amounts but left the district with limited time to obligate the funds.
Kern reviewed several donations (including PTO gifts and a Rom Rominali Memorial Scholarship fund contribution), a transfer related to closing out Scioto’s class of 2024 funds into class of 2025, and an agreement with a fiscal software consortium described in the transcript as “Meta agreement” to provide services and support. He also said the district remains on track for the year and will present a five-year forecast at the board’s first May meeting and final appropriations at the June meeting.
The board approved the recommended Treasurer items 7B–7F by roll call (motion moved by Mrs. De Silva; second by Mrs. Gillis).
