Dublin board gets timeline for high school redistricting; public maps to be released Sept. 29

The Dublin City School District released a public timeline for its high school redistricting process and said the first public reveal of draft maps will be Sept. 29.
Dr. Marshhausen told the board the district will host a webinar on the redistricting process on Monday, followed by a public session led by Cropper GIS on Aug. 26 that will detail the criteria used in map-drawing. Draft maps will be presented to the community on Sept. 29 at Jerome High School and Kaufman High School; the district will post the drafts online the same evening. The public will have more than a month to review and submit feedback before the board receives final maps on Nov. 10.
The superintendent said the schedule gives rising sophomores through seniors an opportunity to decide whether to stay at their current high school or move to a new attendance area, and families will need to submit that choice in writing so counselors can build schedules for the 2026-27 school year. He credited Cropper GIS and district staff for incorporating community input from earlier elementary and middle-school redistricting processes.
