Staffing includes 13 teachers and program support staff, and centers are located across multiple community sites. For the coming year, Mary Lake will move to a single morning session due to staffing adjustments.
Curriculum changes will include adoption of an updated Creative Curriculum kit and continued use of Heggerty for phonics and Second Step for social‑emotional learning. Professional development this year emphasized behavior strategies and de‑escalation, including training from local providers and a focus on inclusive practices. The program also completed required Act 20 (AIMSweb) screening and planned to send family reports to parents.
Moe described family engagement events — family literacy, science and math nights — and a large end‑of‑year celebration for students and families. She also highlighted partnerships with high school student volunteers and credentialed staff who support events and classroom activities. The board thanked Moe and affirmed the program’s role in early‑learning retention and community outreach.
