The Whitefish City Council approved a conditional use permit allowing Trovare, a culinary business at 317 Central Avenue, to serve beer and wine at chef dinners and cooking classes.
City planning staff said the property is in the WP3 general business district and that the business's proposed alcohol service complies with relevant review criteria. The Community Development Board held a public hearing March 20 and unanimously recommended approval; staff reported no public comments were submitted on the council notice.
Under the permit, Trovare may serve beer and wine during scheduled evening classes and chef dinners from about 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Councilor Giuseppe moved to approve the CUP and Councilor Quinell seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
