Board member Jacqueline Rosario asked staff to add explicit guidance about accommodations for ELL students when they sit for college-entrance or placement tests (PSAT/SAT/ACT/CLT) and when those assessments serve as dual‑enrollment or placement gates. Staff confirmed the district can document commonly available accommodations—translated test directions, approved bilingual translation dictionaries, and extended-time allowances—and that the school testing coordinators should be able to register accommodations when an eligible ELL student is scheduled for these exams. Rosario offered to share guidance materials from the SAT/ACT/CLT suites so the district can include concrete, implemented examples in the plan.
