The Whitestown Plan Commission approved a development plan for a Chase Bank location on the south side of Whitestown Parkway within the Lowe's outlot.
Chad Mays of Kimley‑Horn presented the plan and said the bank would be a 3,400-square-foot building on 1.42 acres at 6711 Whitestown Parkway with 22 parking spaces and an ATM pull-up on the west side. "This is a Chase bank that's 3,400 square feet on 1.42 acres with 22 parking spots," Mays said during his presentation. He showed elevations and materials and noted the site orientation with Whitestown Parkway to the north and parking on the north, east and south sides.
Staff reviewed parking and circulation and reported that the plan meets Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) standards and aligns with the land‑use plan for commercial growth; staff recommended approval. Commissioners asked whether the site would include a teller-staffed branch; the petitioner did not provide staffing details during the hearing. The west elevation will host the ATM; there is no external drive-through window proposed.
The commission approved PC 25‑020‑DP for the Chase Bank development plan on a voice vote after a motion to approve "based on the staff report and submitted findings of fact." The chair recorded the motion as passing with commissioners in attendance voting in favor.
