Council approves purchase of a 25-gallon sprayer, tables computer purchase pending pricing

A motion to buy the sprayer was seconded and approved on a voice vote recorded as “Aye.”
Separately, the council debated acquiring an all-in-one desk computer for maintenance and a laptop or iPad for reporting. Staff reported refurbished options and noted that software purchases remain outstanding. Councilors said they wanted better price comparisons and durability before authorizing a purchase, and moved to table the computer procurement until more information is available.
The council also discussed tires and mower maintenance for town equipment; no final large tire purchase was authorized at the meeting. Members instructed staff to assemble quotes and return with recommendations.
