An IBTS representative presented the Public Works report for February, telling the council the department issued 98 new work orders and completed 109 during the month.
The presenter said 69 of the completed orders were generated during February and 40 were carryovers from previous months. Year-to-date totals were 1,374 work orders with a 96% completion rate and 4% pending. The report also summarized roadside and off-road drainage projects, listing recent completions on Morgan Road, Frenchtown and Northeast Drive and noting in-progress work on McCullough Road with additional projects planned on Woodrow Kerr and North Old Settlement.
The IBTS representative said an audited financial report for IBTS will be presented next month and that the department is working with city staff to proceed with three combinations (reports) later next month to explain the severity of certain issues the city faces. The council received the report as informational and did not take action.
