Seven Hills City Council voted to table a zoning variance requested by Paul Sambor for 62625 Ridgeview Drive and approved a separate variance for a 240-square-foot deck at 6841 Glenella Drive.
Councilman Snitsky moved to table the Sambor variance, citing concerns raised in the Zoning Board of Appeals minutes and council discussion that a reduced size could improve the applicant’s chance of approval. Sambor told the council he was "fully open" to revising the size and agreed to the tabling. The motion to table passed on a roll call; the transcript records Councilperson Kelly voting "No" while other recorded members voted "Yes."
The second item, a variance requested by Jen Gorsuch at 6841 Glenella Drive to place a 240-square-foot deck two feet from the side yard lot line, had been granted unanimously by the Zoning Board of Appeals. Council moved to accept that board’s decision; a roll-call vote recorded unanimous approval and the variances were recorded as granted.
Council did not provide additional written conditions in the public record for either item beyond the Zoning Board of Appeals decisions and the tabling request for the Ridgeview variance.
