The applicant, Gary Hall of Hall Enrichment Group LLC, told commissioners he and his family have local ties and disputed the suggestion the applicant was not local. He said family members attend local schools and that the group has had long ties to the area.
After public comment and staff presentation, a motion for a negative recommendation to both City Council and the County Commission carried; the commission recorded one abstention. The commission’s recommendation will be transmitted to the city and county for their subsequent reviews and votes.
