The Keller Planning and Zoning Commission on March 25 accepted the applicant’s request to table a planned‑development (PD) zoning change and a related future land use plan (FLUP) amendment for the Roseberry property to the commission’s April 8 meeting.
Staff provided a brief overview of a proposed PD that would rezone approximately 9.2 acres from SF‑36 and commercial to a mixed‑use PD including 21 residential lots (proposed minimum 8,400 square feet per lot), commercial parcels on the west side, and roughly 1.33 acres of open space. The applicant told staff they want additional time to reach neighbors following spring break and to refine the PD document; staff noted some PD provisions in the draft are not yet fully defined and said civil and drainage plans will be required if the PD proceeds.
The commission left the public hearing open while tabling the item so interested members of the public can speak when the PD returns on April 8. The applicant will have an opportunity to present a briefer staff‑level overview at the next hearing; the PD and the linked FLUP amendment will again be considered by the commission and would go to council if the commission recommends approval.
