Planner Aaron Edelman reported staff mailed 11 notices to nearby property owners and received no written comments. The commission heard from the applicant, who said the store expects about 10 employees overall and three on site at peak times; staff noted parking for the center exceeds the 7 spaces estimated for the store’s floor area.
Commissioners voiced support for the shop as a neighborhood retail addition; the commission’s recommendation will go to the City Council on April 15.
