The director also noted that Hannah has been on staff for a month or two as the collaborative epidemiologist and is preparing new datasets and reports for the board.
The director said the Mass in Motion grant position has been extended and is expected to be filled by mid‑April as well. Board members confirmed that Somerset has signed the intermunicipal agreement and is now part of the collaborative.
Board members raised scheduling questions for future meetings and discussed the uncertainty over the current remote‑meeting authorization: staff said the Legislature had passed an extension through June 2027 but the governor had not yet signed it, so the ability to meet remotely in April was not yet formally finalized.
