Ocean Shores staff outline spring public-works schedule: convention-center recoating, tank repairs, striping and park upgrades

A city staff member told the Ocean Shores council and parks participants that scaffolding will be set up at the convention center on April 14 to allow sandblasting and recoating work to resume, with the project expected to finish in mid-May if weather and event scheduling permit.

“On April 14, scaffolding is gonna be set up at the convention center, unless George says otherwise,” the staff member said. “That will take a week or 2, and then, they'll start sandblasting again for the recoating.”

The updates were delivered as a single spring-project briefing covering multiple maintenance and recreation projects citywide. The staff member summarized timelines, contractors and funding sources, and answered questions on recent utility repairs and grant applications.
