Staff previewed the Martin County CRA FY2024 annual report, describing an interactive, multimedia format the county will publish online by the statutory deadline of March 30. The report assembles project summaries, before-and-after images, short video messages from NAC chairs and CRA board members, and financial pages that explain TIF and capital spending.
Program staff guided the board through highlights for each redevelopment area — Golden Gate, Hobe Sound, Palm City, Port Salerno, Rio, and Jensen Beach — and showed short recorded remarks from program managers and NAC chairs. Board members and staff noted awards, completed investment-program projects and ongoing construction or design activity such as El Camino, New Monrovia park enhancements and Dixie corridor work.
Jordan Pastorius and Office of Community Development staff said the report will appear on the county's website March 30; the county will send the full draft to CRA board members for review and staff can incorporate suggested edits even after the initial posting. The board expressed appreciation for the multimedia format, and staff said they will swap a few images for more current pictures before finalizing.
There was no formal vote; staff will post the report and accept editorial suggestions from board members.
