Oak Creek council awards roundabout contract, OKs park-plan update and vendor report

The Oak Creek Common Council on Feb. 4 voted to enter a contract with MSA Professional Services Inc. to update the City of Oak Creek Park and Open Space Plan and to award construction of a roundabout at the Pewds and Liberty intersection to Lalonde Contractors Inc., the council said.
Matt Sullivan, assistant city administrator and city engineer, told the council seven proposals were received under the request for proposals and that MSA was the selected firm. "MSA pretty much checked all the boxes," Sullivan said, adding the contract will produce a usable data platform and a consolidated capital improvement program for parks and trails. The council approved the contract for professional consulting services with MSA not to exceed $26,560 on a roll call vote.
