The Pasco County Board of County Commissioners on March 25, 2025, took the following formal actions during its public-hearing and consent portions of the meeting.
Key approvals and continuances
- Continued several rezoning/PD requests: Items P32 (Little Road PD / CPA amendment), P33 (Fletcher Subarea PD), P34 (accessory dwelling units LDC amendment), P35 (conditional use for Port Hudson Marina), P36 (Little Road MPUD name amendment), P37 (Fletcher PUD), and P38 (HCM Hospitality LLC rezoning) were each continued to future Board meetings (most to the April 22, 2025 BCC meeting at 1:30 p.m. in New Port Richey; P34 was continued to April 9, 2025 in Dade City). These continuances were moved, seconded, and approved on the consent agenda.
- Consent approvals: Item P39 (PD 25-7855 rezoning request from AR to C-2 for Gustavo A. and Angela Trejo / Land Oleaks Retail, approximately 1.93 acres on State Road 54 west of Wilson Road) was recommended for approval by staff and adopted on the consent agenda; the chair was authorized to execute one original resolution.
- Vacation and real-property items: Item P40 (petition to vacate a portion of a platted drainage and utility easement for Charleston Communities LLC) was presented by real property staff; no objections were recorded and the board approved the vacation on consent.
- Wellhead protection resolutions: Item P41 (adding Hudson Waterworks public supply wells to the county wellhead protection area map pursuant to LDC section 808.6C) and Item P42 (adding the City of San Antonio wells to the wellhead protection map) were presented as county-initiated companion resolutions and both were adopted. Staff said the Hudson wells were supported by consultant wellhead-flow analyses; the San Antonio wells were added consistent with code-required protection radii.
- PD / subdivision items: Item P43 (PD 25-7813, a rezoning for a 46-acre site to allow up to 190 platted townhomes; staff recommended approval with conditions) appeared on the agenda; staff and the applicant presented, no opposition registered, and the item remained on consent and was approved.
Other notes
- Many items on the agenda were continued at the applicants’ or staff’s request and were rescheduled to April 2025 dates; notices for publications and certified mailings were recorded in the meeting record for each item.
- For adopted items that authorize resolution execution or recording, staff indicated originals would be executed by the chair following the meeting.
Ending: Several consent items were adopted without public opposition, while a group of pending rezonings were continued to allow additional review and coordination.
