The Greenfield Common Council on Jan. 7 approved a special-use permit and site plan for Revival Inc. Studio, a proposed tattoo business at 10901 W. Sunset Lane, Suite 211.
City planning staff said the studio will occupy about 170 square feet in the Avery and Birch multi-tenant building, which is zoned as a planned-unit development making tattooing a special-use activity. Staff reported parking for the building had a shortage previously waived in December 2021; plan commission recommended approval on Nov. 12 and the city had received no letters of support or objection.
There were no public objections. The council closed the public hearing and, on a motion by Alderperson Castner seconded by Alderperson Acres, approved the resolution and site plan by roll call; members recorded aye votes and the motion carried.
Council members welcomed the business to Greenfield during the approval.
