The Franklin City Plan Commission on March 20 adopted a resolution amending the site plan for the Rock Sports Complex to allow installation and modification of a fencing system at 7005 South Ballpark Drive.
Staff said the proposed fence location complies with the PDD fence standards and recommended approval, noting a technical correction to a condition and one additional condition requiring the applicant to receive approval from We Energies for any work within the utility easement prior to building permits.
"This proposal... is recommended for approval; a technical correction was noted by the city attorney and condition 4 requires applicant approval from We Energies for any work within the easement," planning staff (Martinez) said, summarizing the staff report.
The city attorney flagged a wording correction to a condition; commissioners accepted technical changes. A motion to adopt the amended site-plan resolution carried on a voice vote.
Staff noted the We Energies approval must be obtained before permits are issued. The commission voted to forward the resolution (with the stated technical corrections) consistent with PDD and fence standards.
Ending: With conditions met, the applicant may proceed to building-permit review; final permit issuance is contingent on utility-easement approvals and the noted technical corrections.
