At the Jan. 14 meeting, the Sherwood Planning Commission completed several routine administrative actions: election of chair and vice chair, approval of past minutes and scheduling follow-up on building design standards.
Per the commission bylaws, the commission holds annual officer elections in January. Commissioners nominated and elected Blake Martin as chairman and a vice chair (motion and second recorded); the roll calls for each election were recorded in the meeting transcript. The transcript records commissioners voting in favor of the nominated officers; the chair and vice chair were installed for the year.
The commission approved the Dec. 10, 2024, meeting minutes. The roll-call summary in the transcript for that approval shows a result recorded as "4-0-3" (four Aye, zero No, three Abstain). The commission also approved the Nov. 18, 2024, called meeting minutes; votes were recorded on the record.
Under old business the commission discussed building design standards and staff said it is working through staff review; commissioners should expect a revised set of standards at the February meeting. The chair then called for and received a motion to adjourn.
Recorded roll-call results for administrative items are included where available in the meeting record.
