Kingman staff presents 15‑year annexation analysis; council directs work on airport/industrial park and East Hualapai Foothills

City staff on March 4 presented a multi-area annexation report and a 15-year fiscal analysis that examined potential revenues, service costs and staffing needs for several candidate areas. After questions and discussion the City Council directed staff to move forward with annexation work for Area 1B (the airport and future industrial park plus Route 66 commercial corridor) and Area 4 (the East Hualapai Foothills).
