Kingman planning panel approves 84-lot Central Subdivision with conditions banning most manufactured homes

The City of Kingman Planning and Zoning Commission on March 12 approved a preliminary plat for Central Subdivision, Tract 6054, to divide about 19.13 acres into 84 single-family lots and five parcels.
Staff recommended approval with five conditions, including a restriction that prevents placement of manufactured homes on lots less than 100 feet in length. Jason, Development Services staff, told the commission the site is zoned both R-16 and RMH-6 and that the proposed plat was designed with those designations in mind.
The condition on manufactured homes “states that no manufactured homes would be allowed on lots that are less than a hundred feet in length,” Jason said, noting that only four lots would be long enough under current lot dimensions to allow manufactured homes…
