RCSC leaders announced that the Sun City Posse agreed to vacate an office at the Grand Avenue facility and that the Sun City Foundation will move into that space.
President Tom Foster said the Posse had difficulty staffing the office and used it mainly for brochures and lockboxes; the foundation found the space suitable and will occupy it while the Posse maintains a display board and brochure access in the lobby.
Foster also noted that the Sun City Foundation had appointed directors and officers; Director Borsky was identified as the foundation president and Director Collins as vice president in subsequent remarks, with Chris as secretary and Linda McIntyre as treasurer noted during public comment by McIntyre.
Separately, Director Borsky said the foundation applied for and was awarded a $17,250 grant from Desert Diamond Casino Group to fund fee assessments for qualifying residents; Borsky said the program will have age and income eligibility rules and other qualifiers.
No board vote was reported on the office relocation; the matter was presented as an operational arrangement between the Posse, foundation and RCSC facilities staff.
