Travis County court approves revised interview questions, begins interviews for Central Health board seat

Travis County Judge Andy Brown and the county commissioners on Feb. 27 approved a revised set of interview questions and began interviewing three finalists for the county’s appointment to the Central Health Board of Managers. The court voted unanimously to adopt edits to the draft questions and to proceed with the scheduled interviews; the fourth finalist will be interviewed on March 11.

The court’s action focused on the wording and order of the interview questions. Julie Wheeler, the county intergovernmental relations officer, briefed the court on the draft questions and timing, saying each interview would have up to 20 minutes with a five-minute buffer between candidates.
