The board adopted new safety‑related policies that require first‑aid supplies in district buildings and vehicles and set minimum staffing for first‑aid‑trained employees during school activities. The policies also add a requirement for at least two safety‑threat drills and two earthquake drills annually, and a first evacuation drill within 10 days of the start of school.
