Senate to recess until 1 p.m. tomorrow; four House bills rolled over, multiple committee meetings scheduled

The New Mexico Senate, during its announcements and miscellaneous business period, unanimously consented to stand in recess until 1 p.m. tomorrow.
Senator Wirth said the Senate will “roll over those 4 House bills” and take them up tomorrow. He told committee chairs to make any needed announcements and said the chamber will reconvene at 1 p.m.
Senator Munoz told senators that the Senate Finance Committee would meet roughly five minutes after the floor session to hear several bills. Senator Cervantes announced the Senate Judiciary Committee will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m.
Senator Maestas offered a brief sports update noting the Sandia Matadors won the girls 5A state basketball championship over Hobbs, 47-30, and provided an in-progress halftime score for another game.
Later on the floor, Senator Stomantis asked whether the earlier, informal suggestion that lobbyists bid on a bolo tie could constitute an impermissible solicitation under the state’s governmental conduct rules, saying, “was that a solicitation of lobbyists? Do we violate the government contact act in doing that?” (quote as spoken). No formal ruling or vote on that question was recorded.
The Senate recessed by unanimous consent; no roll-call votes were recorded for the recess motion.
