District reports positive feedback and $65,000 in community donations for 'School Supplies for All' pilot

Pruitt said community partners, including the Community Action Center, the Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce and Supply Our Children, and many businesses, service clubs, faith communities and volunteers, collectively donated more than $65,000 to support the pilot. Families whose children did not qualify for federal free or reduced-price lunch were asked to contribute $35 per child to the effort, Pruitt said.
