The board also accepted donations presented during the meeting: musical instruments valued at $1,100 from Deb DeWitt for the Horizon Middle School music department; $100 in school supplies from Deb Jones for Horizon West Middle School students; a $4,000 monetary donation from Rebecca Thiebert for homeless services; a $300 monetary donation from Bell State Bank & Trust for homeless services; and a $454 monetary donation from Holland Group LLC for Ellen Hopkins Elementary students.
A motion to approve the consent agenda and a separate motion to accept the donations were moved and seconded and each carried by voice vote; individual roll-call tallies were not recorded in the transcript.
