Wall of Middletown for his military service and the Bronze Star he received in 2023 after long advocacy on behalf of his unit. Chukwuocha outlined Wall’s service record, saying Wall was drafted in 1967, served in a military police ambush and reconnaissance unit and later in a riverboat patrol, and returned to Delaware with the rank of sergeant. The resolution passed by voice vote.
Senate Concurrent Resolution 19, presented by Representative Michael Smith, designates March 10–14, 2025, as Civic Learning Week in Delaware. Smith said civics education is important to equip young people with knowledge of government and how to engage in public life. The chamber approved the resolution by voice vote.
