Staff to prepare ordinance for Council on March 25. - R25-12 Rebecca Thompson (rezoning A-1 to SF-2 for 1.6 acres): Approved 9–0. Staff to prepare ordinance for Council on March 25. - R25-14 Vazant Fruit Farms Inc. (rezoning newly annexed 55-acre tract A-1 to C-2): Approved 9–0. Staff noted sewer is not currently available and utilities will be addressed when development proceeds; ordinance to council on March 25. - R25-16 Anthony B. Taylor / Our Lady of Sorrows (rezone A-1 to P-1 for institutional use): Approved 9–0. Staff to prepare ordinance for March 25 council packet. - PP25-05 & FP25-02 Lane Estates (preliminary and final plat): Motion subject to staff comments approved 9–0; applicant instructed on ordinance timing if council hearing is desired next Tuesday. - RP25-02 Butterfield Coach (replat): Approved 9–0; variances approved 9–0; waiver forwarded to Council recommending payment in lieu 9–0 (see separate article). - W25-06 (Gennaro Terulio, Kelly Road sidewalk waiver): Motion to forward to City Council with recommendation to approve passed 9–0; staff to prepare ordinance for March 25 council meeting. - W25-09 (Veronica Garcia, Suttle Drive sidewalk waiver): Motion to forward to City Council with recommendation to approve passed 9–0; ordinance to be prepared for March 25 council meeting. - B25-14 (Board of Adjustment — Isaiah Desmond, setbacks for backyard shed): Applicant agreed to table and work with staff on drainage, foundation and relocation alternatives; no variance granted at this meeting. - L23-01 Mill Creek Nursing Facility (revision to approved large-scale): Tabled so staff can reconcile revised submittals and confirm what is being constructed; applicant may continue interior work while site elements are reviewed. - L24-10 White Road (extension request): Approved 9–0. - Courtney Hollingsworth Auto Body (extension request): Approved 9–0. - L24-15 “Big Deal” project (extension request): Approved 9–0. - L24-18 First Star Apartments (extension request): Approved 9–0 with a bill of assurance that improvements shown in the phase 1 plan (parking, dumpster access and other gray-area improvements) will be built with phase 1.
Notes: Several items that had been tabled previously (including R25-13, R20-5-15 and others) were announced as still tabled and will be heard at future meetings. For items forwarded to council, staff will prepare ordinances and advise applicants about submittal deadlines for council packets.
