The Planning Commission voted to reconsider its February 5 denial of Use Permit UP24‑60 (Fosun Valley) and then moved to continue the reconsideration to the commission’s next meeting on April 2, 2025, with notice to residents.
Commissioner Simon moved to reopen the commission’s action denying UP24‑60; the motion to reconsider passed 6–1. After discussion, Commissioner Simon then moved to continue the reconsideration to the April 2 meeting and to require notification to residents; the motion to continue carried 7–0.
The chair outlined the possible outcomes available to the commission on reconsideration — overturn denial, overturn with conditions, affirm denial, or continue — and the commission chose to continue to allow additional time and notification. Staff will return the matter on April 2 and carry out the agreed resident notification ahead of the continued hearing.
