Calarito also reported extracurricular successes: FFA qualifiers advancing to state and FBLA regional winners who will compete at state (including a first‑place regional finish by Nick Sanna and other placements), and VEX robotics teams that advanced to quarterfinals and won awards. She said the robotics teams had departed for Seaside after finals. Calarito listed upcoming events: a choir concert on March 18 at 7 p.m. at the venue referenced in the meeting, and an art show in late April showcasing ceramics, drawing, painting, graphic design, metals and woodworking with judges and refreshments.
Calarito also said she is transitioning out of the student representative role and that a successor, Josiah Lopez, has mostly agreed to take over and will begin shadowing her.
