The Lyon County Planning Commission voted unanimously March 11 to forward a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners to rezone about 162.06 acres at 135 Evans Avenue in Dayton from rural residential (RR-20) to light industrial suburban (L1S).
The change, requested by BBCJ Investors LLC, aligns the parcel’s zoning with the countywide master plan land-use designation of “employment” in the suburban character district and with adjacent industrial properties to the north, staff said. The commission’s recommendation will go to the Board of County Commissioners for final action.
