Court approves $4,575 change order to move pool electrical box

County staff presented a proposed change order with Musco in the amount of $4,575 to move a pool electrical box that had been located in the fence line and to make it more accessible. Project engineer Ramona with Element reviewed the request and recommended the numbers were appropriate.
Staff said crews had already approved two other change orders with Hinkle related to drainage and that this Musco change order was necessary to avoid impacting adjacent courts. The court approved the change order by voice vote.
Court members noted change orders are undesirable but said in this instance the work could not be avoided without impacting other elements of the project.
