Court approves EMS personnel moves: promotion, part-time hire and a full-time reappointment

"She's been paramedic of the year at our department," a speaker said, and court members praised her leadership.
On behalf of EMA, the court approved the appointment of Blake Martin as a part-time EMA employee effective March 17 at $14.89 per hour; staff described Martin as having many years of related experience.
The court also approved the reappointment of Joshua Parton from part time to full time effective March 29 at his former rate of $19.39 per hour; staff said he had worked part time while employed at UK and sought to return full time.
Each action was moved and seconded and passed by voice vote.
