Town staff told the PROS Advisory Board on March 12 that a selection committee for the master plan and community‑center feasibility study shortlisted two firms, interviewed both in person and reached a strong consensus on a preferred firm.
Staff said they are finalizing the contracting steps and aim to place a contract award on the April 8 board of trustees agenda; the staff packet deadline for that meeting is March 31. Staff said they are coordinating with legal and the town attorney to complete contract language and supporting materials needed for the packet.
Board members praised the selection process and asked staff to proceed with contracting and bring final documents to the board. Staff said a project kickoff and year‑long engagement schedule will follow contract execution and that the successful firm will begin public outreach and stakeholder interviews as part of the master‑planning process.
No formal contract award was recorded at the March 12 meeting; staff indicated the next formal action will be the board of trustees’ contract award vote if the town proceeds as scheduled.
