The Somers Central School District Board of Education approved two routine action items by voice vote at the March 11 workshop.
First, trustees approved an agreement with Westchester County for use of county voting machines and equipment for the May 20, 2025 annual budget vote and trustee election and authorized the district clerk to execute the agreement. The board also directed district officers and employees to take actions necessary to comply with the agreement.
Second, the board approved the personnel consent agenda as recommended by the superintendent. Both motions were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote; the transcript records “aye” responses but does not show a roll‑call tally on the record.
These approvals were procedural items on the workshop agenda and do not, by themselves, change district policy beyond the approved agreements and personnel actions recorded in district files.
