The Cumberland County Board of Commissioners voted March 13 to accept a donation of 18 cubicle workstations from Prelude Services of Mechanicsburg, estimated at $14,400.
Brent (last name not specified), who presented the item for facilities, said the units are Steelcase brand, can be custom sized and are 8-by-6-foot configurations. “We have several projects coming up and we have a need for cubicles in just about all of these projects,” he said, adding that the county expects to put them into service within the next year.
Commissioners moved and seconded approval; a voice vote carried. No restrictions, sale conditions, or intergovernmental approvals were announced at the meeting. The donation will be processed through Facilities and placed where project needs arise.
