VFW member reports new town VSO Dan O'Neil; veterans tax work‑off and HERO Act benefits discussed

He described excise‑tax exemptions, sales‑tax exemptions on vehicle purchases, and other administrative rebates or exemptions that the assessor’s office can process and said he observed town staff already making accommodations in at least one case.
