Board names Sheila M. Connor and Joy Walter to county advisory bodies; other appointments tabled

Sheila M. Connor was nominated and approved to replace a departing Planning Commission member from Election District 5. The board approved the nomination by voice vote after a motion and second; no roll-call vote was recorded.
The board also appointed Joy Walter to the Eastern Shore Community Criminal Justice Board as the adult educator member, replacing Amy Shockley. That motion passed by voice vote.
Board members tabled the reappointment of Bob Hickman to the Accomack County Planning Commission (District 3) and one other at-large community-service appointment until a future meeting.
