ODOT reviews South Stage, Foothill progress and several safety projects in Medford update

Dellinger said the South Stage study, completed in December, “recommends an overpass or an underpass” and will guide later design, environmental review and funding work. She told council staff and members ODOT will coordinate with the city on traffic system planning and public outreach as the project advances.
The study also leaves open the possibility of a full interchange later, Dellinger said, but added that an interchange is “not feasible or necessary yet.” That reflects ODOT’s current assessment that the…
