Steve Soller, Plano’s media relations director, said activities included workshops on financial literacy, workplace readiness, professional communication, resume reviews and interview techniques designed to prepare students for professional environments. The event marks the first major activity in the program leading to a job fair on April 16, when interns will interview with companies and nonprofits, the city said.
