Mia Casey spoke about the city’s unresolved firefighter contract negotiations and urged the council to prioritize those talks, saying she had heard multiple firefighters consider leaving the department. Casey also questioned public transparency around city costs for a proposed biker rally event, saying she had heard cost estimates ranging from $300,000 to as much as $400,000–$500,000 and asked why public safety and the firefighter contract were not prioritized over event expenses.
The council thanked the speakers and noted the senior‑center invitation for ride‑alongs.
